In chapter one we look at things like motivation and inspiration and what's missing in your life and you know do you feel you're holding yourself back even things like why do you want to change so in chapter two I want to look at three different things I've looked at you know why we want to change and what we're heading into I just want to let you know what's ahead if you're looking to make big changes and if you are looking to implement dynamic self-awareness to help you with those changes there's three things that you kind of need to be aware of and firstly is the grieving process so I talk a lot about this all or nothing you know all in when it comes to change and that you have to sort of out with the old like that you know pretty much your old self has to die in order for the new self to come forth and within that yes there is a grieving process.
And the way I sort of came about this was I have recently ended or come to the end of a rather long term relationship with the mother of my children and that was a huge change in my life.
And I was trying to sort of come to terms with it all and get my head around it all and I was trying to make these huge life changes.
And I came to the realization that I wasn't going to be able to do it using my old self.
Like it, my old self was designed to handle my old way of living, but this was a completely new way of living.
And in order to make that transition, I needed a whole new self to do that.
And letting go of that old self was painful because it had held all these memories.
But when I did go through that grieving process and allow it to happen, it didn't seem so overwhelming and I was actually able to make the changes that I needed to make quite quickly and without any sense of shame or guilt or that I was somehow turning my back on the parts of or the people from that old self.
So I was able to turn up in a much better way for my children, in a much better way for my ex-partner and things were a lot smoother just by acknowledging the fact that that old self kind of was, his time was over and it was time for a new Darren to emerge.
One of the other things and I we went into it a little bit in chapter one about asking questions about always asking questions.
Now there's a reason for this and it's an energetic reason and I came upon this quite a few years ago now and it's enabled me to do this work because I would you've got to allow things in you can't have this rigid mindset of how things are meant to be it just doesn't work change doesn't work that way if you're not allowing new things in the new patterns can't form but if you just allow things in it doesn't mean you have to agree with them but if you allow these energies in these patterns you're gonna create new patterns and there's gonna be this and that's why they're called aha moments because there's this kind of boom it's like a ping like a harmonic ping where these you know these all these energies have sort of come together and then when they're finally converged and created this new pattern this new pattern gets put out into the universe and there's that really that two-step process that aha so it's that impulse of when it finally sort of expresses itself and then that ongoing process of expression and it's really really really to your benefit to allow as much in as possible and to ask yourself as many questions as possible and to take on as many different perspectives as you can again it doesn't mean that you are going to have to go into agreement with them.
It just means that you allow them.
The more we close ourselves off, the more we limit ourselves.
And that has made us, I've found that to be truthful in 100% of the cases, 100% of the time, the more I allow things in, the more I allow different perspectives, The more I look at my own behaviors, again, even if I don't agree with what other people are saying about me, I at least take on that perspective.
It doesn't hurt to do it.
It really doesn't.
And you may just find that while you might not be in full agreements, there may be some truth to it.
And it does really help in the change process.
And thirdly, coming from that is this ability to communicate your message.
A lot of the times we hold ourselves back from communicating our message.
And we're scared to do so because of what we think might happen.
And oftentimes it really plays out the way that we think it's going to play out the way in our head.
I think you can, or everyone can sort of come up with an example of when that has happened.
So this idea of communicating your message the fact that we are all here to communicate a message.
I don't mean, you know, like I don't mean that you have to get up and get on a soapbox and sort of give your views on how life should be.
I'm just saying that we all are here to express a certain pattern.
And I'll talk about this in chapter three with our energetic signature.
But it's really just an evolutionary process.
And if we're not making it known, whether that's to ourselves or to others, and I think that's almost part of the same, two sides of the same coin, then we're not evolving.
And if we want to keep evolving, we have to allow this message to evolve with us, which means that we have to be expressing that message.
And I don't just mean talking, I mean the way you hold yourself, the decisions that that you make each day are communicating a message.
They're communicating a message about how you think and feel about yourself, and they're communicating a message about how you think and feel about others.
But I think it's the first bit that's probably the most important to begin with, and it's the biggest part of dynamic self-awareness is what are we saying about ourselves in the way whether we live.
Are our habits defining us in the way that we want.
The answer's no, you know that.
That's why you're here.
That's why you're trying to find a way to change because you don't like the way that you are Communicating who you are because you really haven't found out who you are And I mean that with the deepest respect And in chapter 3 I'm going to show you how to tap into that But just keep in mind that this is a process It's a it's an unfolding process There's all these different sort of ways that we need to sort of shift and how we've done things in the past They're very simple.
They're very subtle, but they're very powerful.
They're very empowering because the change then comes from within us And when the change comes from within us we can get behind it and that is motivation When the change comes from within us we can allow more things in which becomes inspiration We can start to get a feel for things and see what's missing in our lives a certain feeling might be missing So that we can explore what creates that feeling The more we understand ourselves the more Empowerment that we get so we don't have to hold ourselves back anymore.
We can overcome these fears We can overcome these fears that we have inside ourselves and we can start to discover Why we want to change what it is we want to change away from and what it is we want to change towards We can handle the grieving process of allowing our old selves to go because we know what we're getting ourselves into we can start to have more aha moments and we can start to educate ourselves and to make ourselves more known to ourselves and We can then start to communicate our message not only to others But to ourself we can start to communicate who we are through the actions that we take through the thoughts that we have through the emotions that we put out into the world and through the ideas and purposes that we are here to express So let's keep going in chapter 3 we're going to bring it all together and explore what your energetic signature is and How you can access it.
Let's go do it.
